This site runs no accounts, no comment sections, and no newsletters. This page explains the small amount of data that does get processed — analytics, advertising, and your consent choices.

Who runs this site
Big Walk Wiki (www.bigwalkwiki.com) is an independent, unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by House House or Panic. For all data purposes, the site operator is the data controller and can be reached at tips@bigwalkwiki.com.
What this site processes
Consent detection
To decide whether to show the consent banner, the site queries the third-party service ipwho.is with your IP address to determine your country. The lookup is used
only for that decision; the site stores no IP addresses.
Google Analytics
The site loads Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are useful. It runs under Google’s Consent Mode: in the EU/EEA it defaults to fully denied until you accept the banner, and outside the EU it defaults to granted. No advertising or profiling decisions are made about you based on this data.
Google AdSense advertising
The site shows ads through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-2670400889454009) to keep it free. Google and its partners may use
cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads:
- Where consent is denied (EU visitors who decline), Google serves non-personalized ads only.
- Where consent is granted, ads may be personalized based on your browsing.
- You can review Google’s practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and adjust ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
Local storage
Your consent choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key bigwalkwiki-consent. Clearing your browser data removes it and the banner may
ask again. The on-site search runs entirely in your browser; queries are not sent to this
site’s servers.
Embedded content
The media page embeds YouTube trailers in privacy-enhanced mode
(youtube-nocookie), and the player loads only after you choose to play a
video. If you interact with the player, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Email submissions
Tips sent to tips@bigwalkwiki.com are read and kept for follow-up. We publish the finding, never your email address, unless you ask to be credited by name.
Your choices
- Change or withdraw consent: clear the site data for this domain in your browser settings, and the banner will ask again.
- Opt out of ad personalization independently at adssettings.google.com or via youronlinechoices.com (EU).
