Big Walk radio channels: devices & open leads
Big Walk’s communication devices include player-held walkie-talkies and world radio equipment. The release build names both families; station solutions are not published yet.

Player-held communication
The walkie-talkie is the best-documented portable tool: official sources confirm a crackling radio treatment for voice, and the FAQ says text chat can use it too. No official maximum range is published.
World radio devices
The released build contains a field-radio family with fixed, FM, ham-radio, antenna, tuner, and station-indicator references. These names support a radio-device family in the world, but they do not by themselves prove station solutions, frequencies, or the relationship to player-held walkie-talkies.
Channel and station status
- Confirmed: walkie-talkie voice and text behavior (official FAQ); field-radio asset family exists (release build).
- Open leads: which world radios are interactive, what tuner/station indicators mean, and how they connect to the walkie-talkie.
- Unverified: any specific channel number, frequency, or station solution. This wiki does not publish invented frequencies.
Broadcast station indicators (build evidence)
The released build names seven station indicators (BroadcastStation_stationindicator_01 through _07), plus sending and listening radio variants
(FixedRadio(sending), FixedRadio(listening)) and
FM-radio props. The indicators confirm that a station system exists in the
world; which indicator maps to which channel or frequency is not published,
and station solutions remain unverified.
